Fellowship program - diverse specialties
Hands-on clinical training in a specialist area of interest following the latest evidence-based practice and groundbreaking research.
Non-EU candidates, holders of governmental sponsorship, are welcome to submit a spontaneous application to Skåne Care's clinical fellowship program. Fellowship is, at the moment, only available for international candidates after completed specialist training program in Sweden.
Through our fellowship program, you will get the opportunity to develop further as a specialist. You will deepen your theoretical knowledge, undertake a hands-on clinical training and get access to the latest evidence-based practice and groundbreaking research in a specific area of interest.
The content and length can vary significantly between different specialist disciplines. The fellowship plan is individually designed to meet the clinical background and career development objectives of the applicant, taking into consideration the capacity of the training department. The fellowship's official language is Swedish.
Accepted fellows will:
- Get access to relocation support, including help with home finding, local orientation, and settling-in services.
- Get dedicated support on a day-to-day basis through our representatives at Skåne care's main office and Skåne University Hospital's international office.
- Receive an individually designed curriculum following the Swedish model.
- Earn a certificate issued by Skåne University Hospital upon successful completion of fellowship.
